Concrete doesn't have to be boring. We do curves.

Sweeping patio edges, curved walkways, garden borders, and one-off shapes. If you can sketch it, there's a good chance we can cut it — cleanly, and right to the line.

What are curved & custom cuts?

Most concrete cutting is about straight lines. This is the fun exception. Curved and custom cutting is the art of following a non-straight layout — an arc, a radius, a free-form shape — through concrete with a diamond blade, so the finished edge flows the way the design intended. It's part skill, part patience, and a little bit of showing off.

We work from your layout: a chalk line, a string, a garden hose laid in the shape you want, or a sketch you text us. Then we follow it faithfully, easing the saw around the curve so the edge comes out smooth instead of faceted.

When do homeowners want custom cuts?

Almost always for looks and landscaping — this is where concrete cutting gets to be decorative:

Why StoneCore?

Curves are unforgiving — a wobble shows. We take the time to lay out the shape with you, confirm it's what you pictured, and then cut it smooth and continuous. Because we're a small, local crew, you're talking to the people doing the work, not a call center. Licensed, insured, and proudly based in Western North Carolina.

Our clean-work promise

Decorative work lives in your yard where everyone sees it, so cleanup matters even more. We manage slurry, protect plantings and pavers nearby, and leave your new curve looking like the highlight of the project — not surrounded by a ring of mess.

Frequently asked questions

How do I show you the shape I want?

Lay a garden hose or rope in the curve and snap a photo, or send a sketch. We'll mark the final line with you before cutting so it matches your vision.

Can you cut decorative scoring into an existing slab?

Yes — shallow score lines can give a plain patio a paver or tile look. Tell us the pattern and we'll lay it out.

Is curved cutting more expensive than straight?

Curves take more time and care, so they can run a bit more than a straight run of the same length. We'll give you a clear, free quote — see the pricing guide for how we figure it.
